G2- A Bridge of Ice? Lower Level -07

It takes a lot of people to make sure the road is safe.
The thickness of the ice is checked often.
The ice must be at least 8 inches thick to hold the weight of the trucks that drive on it.
Only brave people will drive on the ice.
These heroes of the ice gladly take on this job.
Every year it is the same.
The winter brings cold weather to the region.
The water in the lakes and rivers begin to freeze.
Once it is thick enough, the ice roads open.
The far-off areas will once again get supplies.
Everything they need to survive must get there.
Would you be one of these bold truck drivers?
