Water can be changed into various forms.

It can go from solid to liquid to gas and back again.

When water is really cold, it turns to ice.

When the ice warms, it starts to melt and become a liquid again.

Add even more heat, and it turns into a gas called water vapor.

These changes to water are happening all around us.
