Water is Everywhere

Water is all around us. It is in lakes and oceans. It is in rivers and streams. It can be found underground. It may even be floating as ice in your drink. Look up into the sky. Do you see the clouds? Clouds are made of water. Did you know it is even in the air you breathe? That’s right, water is sometimes invisible to us.

Plants and animals need water to survive. Water can be found in many forms. It can be a solid, like the ice cubes in your drink. It can be a liquid, like the water in the ocean. It can also be an invisible gas. How can water be in so many places? How can it be in so many forms? How does it do that? Maybe water has a secret.
